I. Salvation by Faith

How a soul is saved

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8–9

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

II. The New Birth

You must be born again

Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." John 3:3

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17

III. The Resurrection

He is risen indeed

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:3–4

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 1 Corinthians 15:17, 20
